Trish Fleming, North Shore InnoVentures and Beth Zonis, Cleantech Open Northeast and one of ACTION's Board members, presented a panel on Programming Across State & Country Borders, expressing that working with other organizations can strengthen the value proposition for everyone involved, and how inter-organizational relationships are maintained.
Mary Ann Pickard, of M2D2, contributed to a panel, Working with Corporations: Strategies, Insights and Best Practices, sharing how their successful relationships with corporate partners has contributed to the strength of their programs and value for their startups.
ACTION's Director, Joan Popolo, took part in a reverse workshop/discussion about Co-Creating a Universal, Market-Entry, Readiness Assessment for Soft Landings, organized by Soft Land Partners. The session explored how to determine a company’s readiness for entering foreign markets, and panelists shared best practices in market-entry readiness, followed by a discussion about the optimal system for company assessment. The group will continue to work together to create a universal readiness assessment tool.
