ACTION Member CI Works Leases Space at IndusPAD to Expand Operations

June 27, 2018

Amesbury-based Collaborative Innovation Works (CI Works) had leased 90,000 sq. ft. of additional space at IndusPAD on the Methuen-Lawrence city line. This will allow the business center/incubator to expand operations and house up to 60 additional companies. Their current 100,000 sq. ft.space at the Amesbury Mill is fully occupied by 62 companies. CI Works focuses on companies that are graduating from incubator space and ready to begin manufacturing products.

IndusPAD is located on the site formerly occupied by Malden Mills, the manufacturer of Polartec fleece, which moved its operations to Tennessee in 2016 and laid off over 200 employees. IndusPAD is an industrial hub space that brings together entrepreneurs and startups, with offices and manufacturing space, with a goal to bring manufacturing jobs back to the area.

The official ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration will be held on Friday, June 29th from 10-11 am at 46 Stafford Street, Lawrence, MA. A Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce representative will be the Master of Ceremonies. Read the Press Release.
