New Bedford Research and Robotics Hosts Tour for ACTION Innovation Network Members and Associates

On July 24th, New Bedford Research and Robotics (NBRR)Founder and CEO, Mark Parsons and his team hosted a group of ACTION members, corporates, and friends to hear an overview of NBRR’s mission, history, and vision for regional and global impact.
We started the morning off with a sampling of delicious local Portuguese pastries. The incubator space was abuzz, with startups, staff, summer interns and students excited to demonstrate their robotics projects. The visit fell between two groups of elementary school students scheduled for that day to learn the basics of robotics.

Joining us were MassRobotics Russell Nickerson Tyler Ojala WorcLab Mary Ann Picard UMassM2D2 Marcela Chesson of Bank of America Gami Dadusc Maislin Festo Mehdi Tohid Cliff Emmons and Ben Anderson. The organization’s mission for equitable innovation education and entrepreneurship through technology creativity was in clear view!

Many in the group continued the conversation and networking over lunch at a local seafood restaurant on the working waterfront in New Bedford.
