ACTION Welcomes Law Firm McLane, Graf, Raulerson and Middleton as Supporting Sponsor

Fall River, Mass (August 12, 2014) – The Association of Cleantech Incubators of New England, ACTION, has announced that the law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson and Middleton is a new, supporting sponsor. ACTION’s mission is to accelerate the success of early-stage cleantech entrepreneurs supported by its membership of 12 cleantech incubators throughout New England and two international incubators located in the United Kingdom and Italy.  

“Many cleantech startups within ACTION’s member incubators are at the product prototype and early commercialization stage,” said Gillian Isabelle, ACTION’s executive director. “The McLane sponsorship will provide these startups, particularly those in manufacturing, with access to legal advice on intellectual property, patent infringements, strategic partnerships, licensing agreements, and exporting.”

Founded in New Hampshire, McLane is the largest and most diverse law firm in that state, and is currently enjoying strong growth in Massachusetts.  McLane will offer ACTION member entrepreneurs a bundled package of services through ACTION’s programs for startups. 

 “We look forward to helping new companies successfully bring their innovations to market through this partnership,” said Cathy Schmidt, Executive Director and CEO of McLane.  The firm has extensive experience serving clients engaged in solar photovoltaic, anaerobic digestion, geothermal, wind, biofuel, hydro, and other emerging clean energy technologies.
